This Swiss association aims to improve the lives and foster the sustainable development of marginalized communities in Southern Africa, primarily through the creation, construction, and operation of educational facilities, such as orphanages, day-care centers, preschools, primary schools, and projects focused on vocational training and sustainability. The association mainly supports the “Claerio Educational Center” and “Paolo’s Preschool”formerly known as “Paolo Zanichelli’s Children’s Home”near D’kar in the Ghanzi district of Botswana and other related projects.

Mosaico Euroafricano Schweizstands as a vital force for change, promoting solidarity between Europe and Africa. Under the leadership of Urs Muehlemann, the organization continues to make strides in humanitarian efforts, fostering a spirit of cooperation and mutual support across borders.
Donation Deductibility:
The association is exempt from tax liability for both cantonal and federal taxes in Switzerland. Voluntary contributions of money and assets are tax-deductible if they reach at least CHF 100 annually, up to 20% of net income for individuals or 20% of net profit for legal entities.
As of November 1, 2023: Recognized by the cantons of Basel-Stadt (BS), Basel-Landschaft (BL), and Solothurn (SO), with further cantons expected to follow.
